PIXEL Information Technology corporation believes
that the central figure in the project is the
project manager. He or she bears the ultimate
responsibility for the success or failure of
the project. Our project management methodology's
central focus is the selection of the project
management team. We are able to quickly mobilize
a competent knowledgeable management team with
superior leadership abilities to successfully
manage our client's project cost effectively
and within budget. Our project management team
utilizes the most current state of the art project
management tools such as PERT/CPM and probabilistic
techniques to ensure the success of our client's
projects. Our methodology is based on a four
phase approach to project management.
The Four Phases of Project Management
|
|
Phase I
Project Evaluation - Determine the result that maximizes
the client's return on their investment.
In this phase, different alternatives that can be used
to implement the system will be considered and analyzed.
The optimum alternative which will provide maximum benefit
to the client organization will be determined and used
as the building block for the construction of the system.
|
Phase
II
Procurement - Mobilize the resources needed to achieve
the desired results.
In this phase, the job analysis and job requirements
will be performed and a clear definition of the resources
needed to achieve the objective of the project will
be stated. Then, the recruiting, interviewing and hiring
of these resources will be initiated.
|
Phase III
Implementation - Begin implementation and obtain the
desired result through team work by the project team.
The construction of the system will begin by the programmers
and analysts assigned. Proprietary structured software
development methodologies will be utilized to develop
the planned system. State of the art object oriented
methodologies will also be applied if necessary. |
Phase
IV
Maintenance - Train and assist users at all levels of
the organization to provide maximum utility of the project's
desired results.
Once the system has been installed at the implementation
stage, training and documentation action will begin
in preperation for the ongoing maintenance effort which
will be required during the lifetime of the system.
Systems documentation will be prepared together with
training manuals. Train the trainer sessions will be
performed to train those who are going to be responsible
for training the end users across the enterprise.
